My journey didn't start in birthwork, it actually started in nutrition- specifically women in pregnancy. That led me to become a doula in 2022. Not long after, I became a student midwife with Natural Birth KC, while also working with three other midwifery practices throughout the process. Having learned from several midwives in the area, I plan to finish in the Fall of 2025 as a Certified Professional Midwife. I am forever thankful for the knowledge and expertise that all my preceptors have poured into me and I know that because of them, the families I serve will be blessed with beautiful home births and a competent, skilled midwife.
I live in Drexel with my husband, Brandon, and our 7 beautiful children, three of which were also born at home. My dream is to not only serve the families in the Kansas City Metroplex, but additionally to build a homebirth community south of the metroplex. I can't wait to be part of doing that and leave behind a legacy that my own daughter can carry on in the future.
